Amy Bearss Kaufman is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the commercial interiors industry. She began her career in New York City with Tobron, a boutique Herman Miller dealership, where she started in sales and ultimately led the company as principal. Under her leadership, Tobron became one of the first certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) in the New York.

After closing her firm to focus on family, Amy continued to make her mark in the industry through ongoing roles in sales and business development at the dealership level. Today, she brings her passion and expertise to Distinctive Office Interiors, where she helps refresh commercial spaces while cultivating meaningful, long-term relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.

With a foundation in design and space planning, Amy is deeply involved in every phase of her clients’ projects—from initial vision through to final execution. Her hands-on approach, collaborative spirit, and extensive industry knowledge make her a trusted partner and valuable asset to any team.

Amy lives in Larchmont, NY with her husband, Aaron, and their son, Oliver. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, sculpting, and beach walks with her family. She is also an animal lover and an active member of IFMA, CoreNet Global, and IIDA.
