From local community initiatives to global causes, we rally behind organizations that align with our values, leveraging our network to drive awareness and impact. Ali Forney Center
Committed to saving the lives of LGBTQ+ young people, in 2002 Carl Siciliano founded the Ali Forney Center (AFC) in memory of Ali Forney. Since AFC’s launch with just six beds in a church basement, the organization has grown to become the largest agency dedicated to LGBTQ+ homeless youths in the country — assisting over 2,000 youths per year through a 24-hour Drop-In Center which provides over 70,000 meals annually, medical and mental health services through an on-site clinic, and a scattered-site housing program. www.aliforneycenter.org
Community Mainstreaming Associates
Community Mainstreaming Associates, Inc. (CMA) is committed to providing flexible and innovative services that meet the changing needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. CMA strives to maximize each person’s potential to lead a fulfilling, purposeful life in the community by offering a full range of employment, social, educational and recreational opportunities. www.communitymainstreaming.org
Creative Art Works
Since 1986, Creative Art Works has been at the forefront of change within urban communities, empowering young people through arts programming that incorporates academic enrichment, creative expression, workforce development and community engagement. www.creativeartworks.org
Hebrew Free Loan Society
The Hebrew Free Loan Society advances economic stability and opportunity for lower income New Yorkers within and beyond the Jewish community by making safe, affordable interest-free loans. ww.hfls.org
League of Yes
The League of Yes’s mission is to establish and sustain baseball and other sports programs that are inclusive and accessible to ALL, irrespective of their abilities. Their objective is to provide an opportunity for all individuals to experience the joy and benefit that come from playing on a sports team. More than a baseball and sports program, the League of Yes’s aim is to help players develop social skills and increase self-esteem, while promoting community support and sportsmanship for the league. Long Island Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center
Long Island Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center (LIADC) helps improve the quality of life for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related memory disorders, and their caregivers. The LIADC is a grassroots, not-for-profit organization founded in 1988 by five Long Island women. Each of these women had a connection with dementia and wanted to create a place where people can turn to for much needed help and services. The organization initially started as a resource center, providing a comprehensive resource directory of local care facilities and professionals, and a social-model adult day service program. Since then, their services have expanded, and they serve all forms of dementia and are helping at every stage of the disease. www.lidementia.org
Navy Seal Foundation
Founded in 2000, the Navy Seal Foundation (NSF) is a national nonprofit that supports active duty and veteran members of the Navy Surface Warfare (NSW) community and their families. The NSF stands at the forefront of crucial care for these individuals and their families through more than thirty comprehensive programs organized under five pillars—Strength, Resilience, Health, Education, and Community. NSF is here to keep our warriors in the fight, and to assist them in transitioning to the civilian sector. PanCAN
PanCAN is the leading organization dedicated to advancing progress against pancreatic cancer. PanCAN empowers patients and caregivers with the resources and knowledge they need to advocate for the care they deserve. They are pioneering the advancement of an early detection strategy for pancreatic cancer and revolutionizing the development of advanced and personalized treatments, and are building and mobilizing the pancreatic cancer field to ensure better outcomes for all those who face pancreatic cancer today and all those who will fight this disease tomorrow. www.pancan.org
The Needlers Foundation
The Needlers Foundation is a not-for-profit philanthropic organization, which contributes exclusively to children’s charities. They were founded approximately 50 years ago by a group of garment center executives to benefit children in need. The Needlers primary goal is raising funds and bringing awareness to benefit pediatric neurosurgery and to help sick and underprivileged children. Today, their membership includes those in allied industries as well as lawyers, CPAs, bankers, doctors, and health care professionals who have helped raise millions of dollars for children’s charities. www.needlers.org
Tunnel to Towers Foundation
Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries out its mission to “do good,” by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. Tunnel to Towers is also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to Never Forget September 11, 2001. www.t2t.org
