Mackenzie Ehrling, head of client delivery at Pareto, a sales recruiting and training company, shared a success made possible through fellow NY Alliance member, Rob Post. Rob connected Mackenzie by email to a contact of his who was seeking a sales role. The introduction was important because the candidate aligned well with the types of roles Mackenzie’s clients were looking to fill.

The Results

Following the introduction, one of Mackenzie’s recruiters spoke with the candidate and moved him through their assessment process. Once confirmed as a strong fit, he was presented to several clients, received an offer, and started his new position two weeks later. The entire process took about three weeks from introduction to placement and resulted in a fee of approximately $17K for Pareto.

This experience highlights the power of the room. Members are not only thinking about company-to-company opportunities but also about talented individuals who can make an immediate impact for clients. It is a testament to the trust members place in one another and the value the NY Alliance continues to deliver.
