Bruce Azus

During his 30+ year career as partner of a national public insurance adjusting organization, Bruce Azus represented policyholders who have sustained property damage to their businesses and homes. An advocate for the insured, Bruce has a particular focus on real estate representing apartment building owners in the affordable housing sector, condominium and cooperative associations, developers, hospitality, commercial and office building owners.
In addition to maintaining his public adjusting license, Bruce is also a licensed insurance consultant & insurance broker, therefore considered an expert in property insurance claims. Bruce provides in-depth insurance policy analysis, evaluates the damages sustained and prepares a comprehensive claim (inclusive of damage appraisals, building consultant reports, inventory compilation and projected business income loss) to present on the policyholders behalf to the insurance company. Bruce holds seminars for insurance brokers & real estate owners nationwide, educating them as to the claims process so that their clients are better prepared to restore their businesses & homes back to their pre-loss condition.
Bruce has been a Public Insurance Adjuster at Affiliated Adjustment Group since 1996, first starting in 1990 as insurance broker with Walter Kaye Associates (now known as Hub International) & then created Property Adjustment Co, Inc before merging his company with his present partners, now operating as Affiliated Adjustment Group.
Bruce is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland. He is a board member of several charities & organizations: Project to Cure (a grassroots organization that operates under the Northwell Health System Foundation addressing pediatric brain tumors), Community Mainstreaming Associates ( Long Island non-profit organization providing personalized services to help maximize people’s independence in their homes and communities.) & Jewish National Fund. Bruce is also a member of the New York Apartment Association and Bronx Manhattan North Association of Realtors.
